Where Is My Mind? - Prosei sat on the beach, my head digging into the sand, my feet dangling in the crisp air. facing towards the horizon, i glanced from star to star. the moon drifted into my sight, and cried into the ocean a river of rain. i lifted my head and rested my feet in the grounds as grains of sand fell from my skirt. raising my eyes in his direction, i lifted my arms in presentation. why are you down? i called out, shocking myself with the volume. i moved my eyes in one quick movement to the waves and back to the moon. with a sigh of relief, i realized the sea didn’t hear my question. the moon did and only stared back at me with his lifeless eWhere Is My Mind? - Prose

i asked him why are you down and
he chanted where is my mind where is my mind so i turned to the tide
and asked her where is his mind
and she swayed hypnotically back
and forth and i asked her do you have his mind and she nodded and brushed her fingers into the grains of sand and i jumped into the night and gravitated to the moon
